HereNow is a group attendance and presence management application operated by Hapalola. This document defines how data is collected, used, stored, and the full limitation of legal responsibility.

Information We Collect

• Account information (name, email, authentication ID)
• Group, event, and attendance data
• Location data (only when attendance verification is enabled)
• Subscription status and entitlement data
• Technical data required for security and stability

Location Usage

Location data is used only during attendance verification when explicitly enabled by a group administrator. The application does not track users continuously or in the background and does not guarantee absolute accuracy.

Subscriptions & Payments

All subscription payments are processed exclusively by Google Play or Apple.

No Refunds or Compensation:

All subscriptions are final. No refunds, credits, replacements, or compensation will be provided for any lost, canceled, expired, or interrupted subscription, whether caused by error, technical issues, user action, or platform-related issues. Any refund requests are governed solely by the policies of Google Play or Apple. HereNow and Hapalola bear no responsibility for such decisions.

User & Group Responsibility

Group administrators are fully responsible for managing members, enabling features, and defining attendance rules. HereNow is not responsible for misuse, disputes, or outcomes between users.

Limitation of Liability

HereNow and Hapalola shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or legal damages, including but not limited to data inaccuracies, service interruptions, subscription loss, or disputes between users. Use of the application is entirely at the user’s own risk.

Account Deletion

Users may permanently delete their account and all associated data directly from within the application.

Children’s Privacy

The application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of any changes.
